Operated personal ceramics studio under the name of Jack Valentine.
In 2008 expanded to Valentine Studios and began teaching beginning
throwing and hand-building classes
2000-2001 Massillon Museum of Art, Massillon Ohio: Ceramics Teacher
Taught several classes, at various skill levels, on how to throw and hand
build ceramics.
May-August 2000 Paradise Pottery, Arkansas: Potter's Apprentice
Fired a wood kiln, made and glazed pottery. Also learned the business
aspects of running a studio.
1997-1998 University of Akron, Akron Ohio: Ceramics Technician
Duties included making clay and glazes, firing the various kilns and
helping other students with their projects.
